I'm probably the last Singaporean to know thisEz-link cards are so expensive! I went to purchase a new Ez-link card as I think I should stop using my poly one(thou the fare is the same). Got the new card for $15 but I can only use $7? Of the $15, $5 is cost of the card?(non-refundable) and they put the remaining $10 in your card. Of the $10, $3 is the refundable deposit and now we're only left with $7 to use when we pay $15. Tsk tsk. Sorry if I sounded really sua-ku but can you tell me what is the $5 when there's already a $3 deposit? Labels: randoms

Responsible?I may not have to work physically but it's all work work and more work in my head! After dinner on Monday, I emailed D & L(colleagues taking over me) at 10pm and then J at 11.30pm. Mum: I'm going to the lawyer's tomorrow with your dad.So, we went to the lawyer's place at Clark Quay. I'm craving for some Fish 'n' Chips so I brought my parents to Manhattan Fish Market. The parents wanted to lunch at Tong Lok but since I'm the one treating, I insisted on Manhattan!(kinder to my wallet) I like the garlic butter rice from MFM and since my F'n'C doesn't come with that, I wiped the rice from my mum's mini lobster set. (: After lunch, my parents drove me to office to collect the bag of stuff that I've left. Called Ivan to bring it out for me as the boss is in and I don't want people to think that I 死赖着不走. J came out as well to asked me about some work stuff, had a quick chat and I returned to the car. Told my parents that J asked me some stuff but I feel that I didn't explained clearly. Since I'm like heading home with no plans before a movie date at 8.30pm, I went back to the office. I was trying to be discreet and all that... but I fell! The dumb chair chose to roll away, I missed it and landed on the floor. It was very embarrassing! Everyone in the quiet office heard it but fortunately only a few saw me falling. >.< Stayed for like 30mins and left, I felt much better that I really cleared the things on hand. (: At night, I met up with CL, R and H for Transformers. We have got 5 tickets when there were only 4 of us. Tsk, what a waste of money. I wasn't interested in Transformers and didn't plan to catch it. Our colleagues gave us the tickets and I'm free so why not? It turns out to be quite good, love the humour. I think the Leo guy and Simmons should get nominated for best supporting actor. Bumble bee is cute! I'd love to have a toy/pet like him. It's good, definitely better than the first movie. Farewell from ShermianDear All, L2 commented that my email sounds like I'm going to die or something. =X Tracy asked if I cried today, I didn't or rather I don't have the time to. L2 told me that they started taking photos from 1pm while I worked all the way till 6.30pm (also cannot finish!). Sigh, I only managed to take a photo with my bosses. Orientation was postponed due to H1N1 which means I'll be free tomorrow. Requested to go back tomorrow but request was rejected. Oh well, I did what I can and L1 told me that she will follow up. I hope everything will be smooth for them. I felt that I didn't do a proper handing-over job as I'm just too busy today. Anyway, I've given them my personal email & mobile number and I'm on standby mode. Is this good or bad thing for staying near office? Sent out the above farewell email to like 200 selected co-workers from the various companies around the world. After like 2 hours, I was thinking :( nobody replied? Then I realized that when people reply to my farewell email, it will be forwarded to my personal email. DUMB! So I checked my personal email and BOOM! 38 replies! ![]() Their emails make me feel good! I hope these are all from the bottom of their heart and not just formality replies. 50 over now. (: I feel so guilty for not replying to others' farewell email in the past. ): I believe that it's fate that gave me the chance to work with each and every one of you. LeavingTomorrow shall be my last FULL work day. Will be having a farewell lunch with my IBP colleagues and a farewell dinner with my Tuas colleagues. I wonder if I will miss working in future (maybe when I'm sick of studying) Missing cargo, people not replying to my emails, people requesting for tedious reports... Rough. Can't you let me have a smooth last few days at work? I need to work doubly hard for the next 2 days and not leave any shit for my colleagues taking over me. But part of me dun feel like dealing with those shit leh. Just a very random entry. I promise that the next entry will be a proper one. Till then. Labels: randoms, thoughts, work
